The tsunami of autism.

These are not my posts. But I wanted to share:
"The tsunami of young children diagnosed with autism in the 90s are now adults. Their parents are getting old and starting to pass from the scene, and the taxpayers are going to start to learn how much of a subsidy those parents have been providing over the years."
"Special needs is life-consuming for the caregiver. Other siblings should be able to choose whether to sign up for that. Parents should not put that on their other children or make them feel obligated. Parents should want what's best for their mentally sound children. It is despicable to expect their children to do something they never signed up for."
